Make your very own homemade cleaning paste, just as good as ‘The Pink Stuff’, which is predominantly baking soda/bicarbonate of soda based.
In a bowl, add one cup of bicarbonate of soda.
Then pour on two tablespoons of tap water, followed by two tablespoons of washing up liquid. Then, using a small whisk, start to mix and whisk until if forms a creamy consistency.
You can (if you like) add in ten drops of your favourite essential oil for scent. I always prefer the citrus ones for a zesty freshness, then whisk again until the mixture is quite foamy.
Pour into airtight containers or ramekin dishes covered in clingfilm where it will stay fresh for weeks. This will make most things sparkle and shine.
