Here’s a simple shower head cleaning tip to remove a build up of legionella and mycobacteria that could be harbouring inside the small nooks and crannies.
This is a great tip without using bleach.
Place the shower head into a sandwich bag or any other bag without holes (for obvious reasons), then fill the bag with white vinegar until it covers the shower head. It’s ok to add water to fill it further if you haven’t got enough.
Leave to soak for a minimum of 3hrs, then remove and rinse through before placing it back on your shower.
Works on plastic too.
