Vegan friendly, homemade cleaning paste for ceramics, stainless steel, silver and buffing brass – using a banana!
Take half a banana and put it into a bowl, then mash with a fork.
Add one tablespoon of bicarbonate of soda and stir to make a paste, then when softened, add another one tablespoon of bicarbonate of soda, then whisk.
Finally, add one teaspoon of lemon juice and stir.
This requires immediate use, so apply quite liberally to all your taps, basins, toilet and rub in. Leave for a few mins and wash away with warm water.
Banana’s are high in potassium and other natural oils that are natural buffers, whilst the bicarbonate of soda lifts dirt, the lemon juice adds polish and sheen for a well rounded fun cleaning paste.
Enjoy a tropical scent and super clean sheen.
