Do you have a very smelly bin, especially if it is a plastic one? Did you know that under a microscope, plastic is very porous? That means those pores are very good at trapping bacteria that cause odours.
The best way to remove these smells is to banish them with bicarbonate of soda, white vinegar and a few drops of essential oil.
Take 1/4 cup of bicarbonate of soda and place it into a bowl. Then, add 1 tablespoon of white vinegar, pour over slowly as it fizzes, stir. Finally, add in 5 drops of essential oil, but remember that if you have pets, the safest is likely lavender. (Please do some research).
Wipe the final paste all over the inside of the bin and leave for around 30 minutes. After this time, wipe clean with a damp cloth and dry.
