Is your washing machine in distress! Have you taken a look at what lurks behind that rubber seal – I dare you to take a look!
A simple, yet effective method to clean away the black mould that can often live there is bicarbonate of soda and white vinegar.
Take a few spoons of bicarbonate of soda and sprinkle onto the affected areas, then drizzle on some white vinegar too. Leave for a few minutes and brush into the mould with an old toothbrush or rub hard with a cloth.
Repeat again if you have severe build up, but a great way is to leave the mixture overnight and wash away in the morning.
