If you’re on holiday and would like a quick and simple method for cleaning almost all surfaces (except stone or untreated wood) then look no further than lemon and salt.
Lemons are acidic and mildly antibacterial, where as salt is a dirt agitator – so combine the two together and you can ensure that surfaces are clean and fresh in your holiday apartment without saturating everything in bleach.
Pour salt all over the counter, chop a lemon in half and rub and scrub away! Dry with some tissue paper and enjoy the lemon freshness.
